Bed protest

Bedtime tonight was rough, every time we laid Jakob down he started screaming bloody murder, James and I tried rocking him and he would be quiet while we rocked but as soon as we laid him down he went to screaming again. So James and I decided to let him cry for a bit and hopefully he would go to sleep. We were sitting in the living room and I looked at James and said he is out of his crib and James looked at me and was like no. Then he ran down the hall and opened Jakob's room to be greeted by a smiling Jakob at the door. I think its time to convert to a toddler bed but I'm just not ready to give him full roam of his room yet. He is only 18 months old and he just turned that 4 days ago. Hopefully we can continue with the crib until after Christmas as then switch to a toddler bed. As far has Jakob going to sleep he is currently awake laying right beside me on the couch.. It is raining pretty hard outside tonight and Jakob does not like storms so i think that contributed to the fact that he does not want to go to sleep.
